ICONbet Community P-Rep 2020 Roadmap
It was kind of hard for the ICONbet P-Rep to build a roadmap before now because we were mainly focusing on optimizing our P-Rep rewards to help the ICONbet platform the best we could, but now we are progressing forward with some existing and new projects so we can build this roadmap to show!
To re-cap, our P-Rep is fairly new only having been around since late February 2020 but we have already achieved a lot in that time. We set up our P-Rep to be 100% transparent with our transactions and we have set up a structure for our rewards that is as DAO as we can make it for the time being (some Smart Contract technology limitations hinder us right now from going fully DAO). We use icon.vote consistently to make any changes to the P-Rep structure and have been very successful in such.
ICONbet is the focus of a lot of ICON initiatives because the platform currently produces the most transactions per day out of any of the Dapps (and the most on a LOT of competing networks as well which we are very proud of). At the moment we have the Reliant Node team building their mobile wallet to work with our (in development) mobile version of ICONbet. We have PICONBELLO team building a Telegram bot that you can use to make bets from telegram to ICONbet games making it easier for people to chat and play at the same time.
On the ICONbet website itself a lot of changes have happened with the details of all the volume/excess for present and past day for each game. The TAP Smoothing has begun and the daily TAP distributions are dropping .5% every day and is currently down to 913,725 TAP and dropping quick! Our volume is consistently around 1mil avg each day and our DAU is growing. We are looking into live chat box on the website that will connect to our main Telegram channel for quicker and easier support. I mentioned this before but we have a mobile browser version of ICONbet in development and ready to release soon.
There is so many things happening on the new game front for ICONbet it’s hard to get time to breathe these days. The DAOblackjack team has released DAOblackjack officially (https://iconbet.io/daoblackjack) and it’s starting to grow in volume and DAU. DAOlottery will be releasing REALLY soon which will allow the non-casino players to take their chances at winning large sums of ICX for the cost of a cheap ticket. The biggest new game that we are super excited about and we believe everyone else is as well is DAOholdem. We have been working on the game for a couple of weeks now so it’s still very early but with the support of ICX Station and the ICONbet Community P-Rep and all of the ICONbet Tapholders we will make this game a reality and have Texas Holdem Poker for the ICON network. We will post updates about it here when we have something more concrete to share.
There are a couple of other games being talked about but nothing is set in stone yet. We are actively looking for SCORE programmers to help build games for ICONbet. You will make your share of the divs from the game and if funded by either the P-Rep or the Foundation then you will also be paid for your work as well. We have been starting to push our marketing efforts a bit as well. We have helped develop the artwork for a couple of banners and promotions, as well as helping to fund them. You’ll be able to see all of the details in our monthly financial reports. We have worked very hard to build our excel file for our financial reports so they are accurate and transparent. As a quick reminder that every team member on the P-Rep team is a volunteer and does not get paid a dime for their efforts. If they spend any money for any projects like marketing or development (for ICONbet) then it is reimbursed.
That about wraps up our Roadmap for 2020 for now. We’ll keep updating it as things progress and we acquire new games/ideas.
